Future Factory

Description

Future Factory is a 3D rogue-like shooter about surviving in an ever changing factory filled with tough enemies and puzzles. It is inspired by the work of a man who invented the word Robot. Future Factory is available now on Windows Phone Store.

Details

The Future Factory is built around the idea of a console experience on mobile devices with the high level of polish and challenging difficulty suited for new and experienced players alike.

The initial concept laid the foundation for a game enjoyed in short bursts or longer play sessions. With added procedurally generated floors, layouts of rooms and waves of enemies it creates endless possibilities and scenarios spiced up with optional challenges keeping players asking for more.

The unpredictability, demanding gameplay and precise dual-stick controls translated to touch devices was awarded by the App Campus and won promotional support during the launch window from Microsoft on Windows Phone. Once the exclusivity ends, Future Factory will be available also on iOS and Android platforms.

The story of Future Factory has been inspired by the famous drama R.U.R. (Rossum’s Universal Robots) published in 1920, in which he used the term Robot for the first time before Asimov laid down the laws of robotics, and a way before Ash was dismantled on the board of the Nostromo.

Features

  • Endless rogue-like dual stick shooter bringing console-like experience to your mobile
  • Cutting edge 3D graphics with gorgeous hand painted textures and comics
  • Infinite replayability thanks to deceitful unpredictability and tons of optional challenges
  • Great story and setting inspired by Karel Capek’s drama and the dystopian era of 20‘s.

About us

“We bring console-like experience to mobiles“

Fun 2 Robots was founded in September 2013 by Vladimir Gersl and Lukas Labaj after they left Cauldron/Activison (nowadays Bohemia Interactive Slovakia) with one goal - to leverage years of experiences with building console games for big companies and channel it to developing high polished indie games.

Even with a small number of core members the team is very effective and open to others to collaborate. To be as much open and transparent as possible is the philosophy of Fun 2 Robots Ltd. Especially during development process of Future Factory, a fast paced action game with rogue-like elements inspired by the work of Karel Capek, who introduced the word ‘Robot’ to the world.
